IntraOral 3D scanners are small 3D scanners that directly capture oral profiles of a patient when moved inside their mouth in a specific manner. Generally, 3D scanners (including IntraOral scanners) exploit a single 3D technique to acquire data. However, with DENTRA, we have combined multiple 3D scanning techniques with a Hyperspectral Imaging layer as a single composite process. Our AI framework makes these techniques work in tandem, leading to the detection of a much wider spectrum of 3D artefact while scanning. This "Hybrid-3D-Structure" technique has been developed completely in-house and has been patented.
The best thing about DENTRA is that it is Scalable in terms of features. The same device can also be used for the diagnosis of Carries, Plaques, and even Oral Cancer. Software modules with Carries, Plaques, and Oral Cancer diagnosis capabilities are being offered as add-on modules.
